Our Origin

A Passion for Authentic Pizzana

Pizzana was born from a simple, powerful belief: that real pizza — crafted slowly, with love and the finest ingredients — deserves a home in Los Angeles. Our founders, inspired by years studying Neapolitan pizza traditions, set out to bring authentic pizzana to the heart of West Hollywood.

We source our San Marzano tomatoes directly from the volcanic soils of Mount Vesuvius, our fior di latte from family-run dairies, and our dough is slow-fermented for 72 hours to create that unmistakable, pillowy crust that our guests travel miles to taste.

What started as a neighborhood gem quickly became a landmark. Today, Pizzana serves thousands of guests each month, and our commitment to the craft — to real pizanna made the right way — remains as strong as the day we opened our doors.

2015

The Beginning

Pizzana opens its doors at 460 N Robertson Blvd in West Hollywood. Our first night sells out completely — and our waitlist begins the very next morning.

2016

LA Magazine's Best Pizza

Just one year in, Pizzana is named "Best Pizza in Los Angeles" by LA Magazine — a milestone that brings national attention to our authentic Neapolitan approach.

2018

Catering Program Launches

We introduce our full-service catering program, bringing the Pizzana experience to private events, corporate gatherings, and weddings across Los Angeles.

2020

Adapting & Growing

Through a challenging year, we innovated with curbside pickup and online ordering — connecting with our community in new ways while keeping our team employed.

2022

100,000 Pizzas Milestone

We celebrated a huge milestone — our 100,000th pizza served. We threw a block party for our West Hollywood neighbors to say thank you for every slice shared.

2024

Online Ordering & Delivery

Pizzana launches full online ordering with nationwide shipping of our signature frozen pies — so fans across the United States can enjoy authentic pizzana at home.
